  • TruckVault installed in Finishlinewest's 2008 Jeep Wrangler

    Street-Legal Heavyweight: Finishlinewest's 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

    Sometimes more is more.

There is a school of thought that espouses lightness in off-road machinery. The theory is, when weight is removed, less power is required and the vehicle can hop up on rocks and maneuver around obstacles with less effort, resulting in surprising performance, less cost, and less component breakage. We've even known a few people who make it work.

TruckVault Featured in 4WD Toyota Owner Magazine

When you’re doing off-road action like this in any type of 4WD Toyota, it’s a smart idea to have your gear secured in a safe and organized manner. We installed a TruckVault drawer system in our 1995 FZJ80 Land Cruiser. It’s waterproof, durable, holds our freezer/fridge, and let’s us slam around on the trails without our spare parts and tools banging around inside our truck.

  • Winners: Jan & Charles Alphonso

Autozone Winner of Pickup and TruckVault Announced!

Needless to say winning this beautiful 2009 FORD 4X4 truck, equipped with an Extreme All-Weather TruckVault, was one of the most exciting moments of my life!

I was planting flowers in my front yard with help from my gardener when the FedEx truck pulled up to my curb. After reading the letter (several times) from the National Sweepstakes Company advising me that I was the Grand Prize winner, I nearly passed out!

I was jumping up and down, grabbed and hugged the gardener, then as a neighbor was walking his dog by the house I grabbed and hugged him too! I can’t imagine what they both must have thought. I couldn’t even speak as I handed the letter to my neighbor to read.

I called my husband at work to tell him my great news but I could only cry. You see I am giving the truck to my husband for Christmas since his FORD truck is getting up there in years and has lots of miles on it. He is a really good guy and has had a tough last three years. After having a four-way bi-pass that went terribly wrong, he almost lost his life. He was in the hospital almost two months and has had five surgeries within three years. I quit my job to care for him so as you can imagine financially this set us back quite a bit.

He is doing pretty good now and I’m happy to be able to give him new wheels and NO truck payments! The money he gets from selling his old truck will be going to our daughter so she can get a better car.

I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for having this sweepstakes and making several people in my life very happy.

    We all thank you!

TruckVault Completes 2nd Hero Hunt of 2009 Campaign

Sedro Woolley, WA (2/6/09) TruckVault, Inc., makers of the world's finest in-vehicle secure firearms storage solutions, announced today the completion of its second of three Hero Hunts slated to air as part of their Xtreme Hunts television series lineup for 2009.

TruckVault provides three all expense paid hunting trips annually as part of an ongoing campaign that honors deserving American heroes who unselfishly serve our country through law enforcement, fire and rescue services, and the armed forces.

On this hunt Captain Anthony Lopez and Sergeant Jason Riley, two deserving soldiers of the New Mexico Army National Guard, joined TruckVault's Xtreme Hunts host, Mark Kayser, and Bob King of the Santa Fe Guiding Company at the Felix Canyon Ranch for some exciting south-central New Mexico Scaled Quail hunting. The ranch, most famously known as the place that Billy the Kid was staying as history unfolded, later became the basis for the movie "Young Guns". Both Lopez and Riley came highly recommended by their superiors for time served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • Casey Jones, you and the Kawasaki Disease Foundation are winners!

The ballots are in, the votes counted, and the Clay Target Shootout TV show’s ā€œViewers’ Choiceā€ competition is now a matter of record. Casey Jones of Texas was the top vote-getter from among almost 50 shooters who competed on the series created and produced by Scott Linden.

Casey was one of the show’s ā€Young Guns,ā€ competing in the Scholastic Clay Target Program. Almost 10,000 television viewers went to the National Sporting Clays and National Skeet Shooting Associations’ websites to vote. Jones chose the Kawasaki Disease Foundation as beneficiary should he win the balloting, and that organization will be receiving $1,000 from Linden. He will take home a ProMatic Firefly trap thrower and a TruckVault for garnering the most votes for his charity.

Clay Target Shootout is the official television series of both the National Sporting Clays Association and National Skeet Shooting Association. More information: 541-382-1726 or www.scottlindenoutdoors.com

  • Hall and Kayser proudly showing off their results of the hunt.

    Final Hero Hunt Complete

TruckVault's final Hero Hunt of the '08 airing season was completed this past week just outside of Fort Morgan, CO. Greg Hall was selected as the final recipient of an all-expenses paid waterfowl hunt filmed with TruckVault's Xtreme Hunts show host Mark Kayser.

Hall resides in Pennsylvania and is currently working as an NTOA Instructor. Greg joined show host Mark Kayser for his waterfowl hunt near Fort Morgan, Colorado, along the South Platte River. The duo joined up with seasoned waterfowl outfitter John Hagen of John Hagen Outdoors.

Conditions for the hunters were very extreme with heavy snow falling ahead of their arrival. Canada geese and mallards were feeding heavily in drought-stricken cornfields that were left standing due to their lack of profit in the region. The hunting was done from pits in large spreads of nearly 300 goose decoys and several dozen mallard decoys.

  • Sedro Woolley Firefighters look on as a vehicle, complete with TruckVault, becomes a roaring inferno.

Media Gallery, Burn Video are Live!

TruckVault announced today the official launch of their new Media Gallery feature on their website, available by clicking here.

Along with the launch of the new Media Gallery, TruckVault is debuting their newest Product Trial video entitled "Trial by Fire", in which an older-model SUV equipped with a single-drawer TruckVault was set on fire, simulating a vehicle accident and demonstrating their products'resilience to heat and flame.

"We worked with our local fire department in creating a simulated freeway car fire scenario," said Sales & Marketing Director Don Fenton. "This was done primarily as a training segment for the firefighters with a secondary benefit being that it provided us with a great test of our product." The idea for the video originated from a number of customer testimonials in which privately owned TruckVault products survived ravaging vehicle fires, protecting the contents and allowing the items stored within to emerge unharmed.

  • 2008 Innovation Award

    National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship

TruckVault is proud to be a sponsor of the National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship!

Collegiate bass fishing has been around for a while, as the Big 10 Classic has been an annual event for more than a decade, but now there is a full blown national program that culminates each year with a championship sanctioned as the top event in the country - The BoatU.S. National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship (NCBFC).

The NCBFC made its debut in the fall of 2006. It was a modest beginning with 41 two-person teams representing 24 colleges and universities. But it was the right group for a first event of this kind because it included some of the nation's top inter- and intra-divisional rivalries. With participating teams from Purdue, Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oregon, Alabama and others, conferences like the Big 10, Big 12, PAC-10 and SEC all had a prominent presence.

The three-day event held at Sneaky Pete's Marina on Lake Lewisville in Texas had all the fanfare of any major college sports' championship, including television cameras rolling to capture the before, during and after activities for a television series produced by Careco Multimedia. North Carolina State goes in the history books as being the country's first national college bass fishing champion.

The success of both the premiere event and the TV series left the participants, the sponsors and the American public wanting more collegiate bass fishing. The result is today's BoatU.S. National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship.
